Fender Mini Tonemaster Guitar Amp 9 Reviews

The JC-50 jazz chorus is a classic amp by Roland. This is the more portable version of the larger (and heavier) JC-120 which set the standard for loud clean chorused guitar sounds. It provides clean tones that are pristine, yet warm and sweet. This solid-state amp projects the natural sound of your guitar, and excels as a platform for pedals. It sounds great with tube-screamers, and many other pedals. It has full rich reverb, and a stunning built-in footswitchable chorus/vibrato effect made by the king of effects companies: Roland/Boss. The amp is built like a tank, yet is a comfortable weight.

The JC-50 has a full-range 12" speaker in a cabinet that is almost totally enclosed, thereby providing very efficient sound projection. It can be quite loud. Crystalline highs on top of full clean rich lows have made these amps a favorite of guitarists of all stripes. The built-in footswitchable distortion effect can be used at lower settings as a volume boost thererby increasing the amp's versatility. The abundant clean power of the JC-50 also sounds great with keyboards and other instruments.

I've played the JC-50 with good results with an american strat, a yamaha sbg2000, a prs standard and other guitars. It presents the true characteristics of each guitar in a flattering manner. This is a must-have for players and collectors alike.
