Everyone has people who deadbeat bid

What often happens to me is I get the person who creates an account, bids on my item and disappears. I suspect that since my listings are usually wrestling figures, that it is just kids who don't have money of their own, hoping Mom and Dad will pay for it. When they can't get the money, they pretend nothing happened.
It's not the loss of money I hate. It is the waste of my time that I hate. Not only do I waste my time checking to see if they are going to pay and sending notices to them, I have to waste my time turning them in to eBay and wait for nothing to be done before I list it again.
I know there are some people who refuse to acccept bids from new people. I think this is a dumb attitude to take. I like to give new people a chance to build a feedback rating. I was new once too. I give newbies the same chance I was given.
i don't always get burned by a new bidder, but when I do , I turn them over to the eBay police. Stay patient, my friends.

Let me preach the gospel of IPR- really keeps the open cases for payment off the decks. I'd preach loudly, but sales really stink right now.
