New TRS Reports Are A SCAM

Why Does Ebay Outsource Customer Service Instead of Hiring Americans?

The PROBLEM is their "reports" are out of synch.

We waited to see what would happen with the 4/20 evaluation they use currently and compare that against the 4/14 and 4/18 NEW reports.


1)  On 4/17 we had 5 Neutrals removed from the past year....in EVERY case the buyer didn't read the title, specifics, description or look at all the pics and CS Supervisor agreed they were gounds for removal and did so.

BUT....

The DSR hits are STILL in the latest 4/18 report...OK so we can wait to see if that changes with the next NEW report cycle this coming week...maybe it has to catch up.

If not, they are scamming us by NOT removing any and all DSR data associated with removed feedback.


2)  We have ONE Neg from last July which we're not all that concerned with as that will fall off the radar before the Aug evaluation under the NEW reports.


3)  We had a SNAD case against us that was CLOSED IN OUR FAVOR yesterday because the buyer refused to return the item and STILL expected a refund.

THAT SNAD case showed up in the NEW popup evaluation screen yet does not show in the underlying data file you can download.  This is a scam because the TWO NEW reports are not in synch.

The underlying data file THEY SAY is used to support the popup evaluation window IS DIFFERENT!

We had 5 other SNAD cases this past year and ALL were closed in our favor.

It appears that regardless of outcome, a "defect" is charged against you by the mere opening of a case.

So despite all 6 being decided in our favor, we STILL received 6 "defects".


4)  2 INR cases from this past year show up on the download report DESPITE THE FACT THAT TRACKING WAS PROVIDED BECAUSE WE USE EBAY LABELS AND BOTH ARRIVED THE DAY THE CASES WERE OPENED AND CLOSED BY BOTH BUYERS!

It appears that regardless of outcome, a "defect" is charged against you by the mere opening of the case.

Now I need help here...if you use eBay labels and the tracking is generated, they have links to the USPS system...

How is it WE have to REINPUT the tracking data to prove delivery when they already have that data?

How is it their interface to the USPS or ANY of the carriers they work with is not programmed to check Delivery Status using that tracking data when the buyer attempts to open a case? If it shows delivered the opening of the case should be VOIDED and SHUTDOWN!

Now the moron executive at the "debut" of the new standards seminar stated "It is important for Sellers to use the eBay system flow from begining to end to avoid issues wit buyers" and most Sellers who use Ebay to make a living do exactly that.

What he DIDN'T say is that their POST SALE flow is horribly broken, has more holes in it than Swiss Cheese  and their inability to program their system to be "pre-emptive" in opening unjustified cases is appalling.

Their "solution"....

The new eBay POST SALE "defects" policy and system is clearly designed to make sellers "guilty of defects" BEFORE the outcome of ANY cases are decided.

In the U.S. Justice system, a "defendent is innocent until the State proves them guilty".

In the eBay system, "Sellers are GUILTY until THEY prove they are innocent...and even when they do, we will still use data we willfully and purposely HIDE and fail to remove to punish them...retroactively".

This my friends, is "The New Ebay"!


Actually we are talking about THREE different data sets.

1) Current Performance report.

2) New Popup which shows 4/20 date

3) Downloadable data file which shows a 4/18 date (udated since first one on 4/14)


For the sake of this discussion toss #1 away and look at #2 & #3 both of which go back 12 months.

They should BOTH be using the SAME data file otherwise its an Apples and Oranges scenario with different data and a seller doesn't know whether they are coming or going.

The difference of 2 days in the purported "generation of the data" should NOT have that significant a difference and yet they are WAY OFF!

SCAM!

My real gripe is that DSRs are REMAINING and impacting our perfomance reports when Neutral/Neg Feedback is removed.

Sure it LOOKS NICE but it's just window dressing.

They are penalizing sellers with HIDDEN data.

When Feedback is REMOVED the DSRs associated with them should be removed as well.

Otherwise eBay is pulling a fast "disregard the man behind the curtain" one on their sellers with non-transparent data.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
