Over the past year, I have had several of these cases opened where the following turned out to be the culprit:
- Delivered to neighbors house. Neighbor dropped it off the next day. Case closed. Everyone happy.
- Customer saw tracking showed delivered, but she did not recieve. Turns out husband had the mail. Case closed. Everyone happy.
- Customer could not locate package. Found that is was delivered to the back door. Case closed. Everyone is happy.
These 3 cases push me into a Below Standard Rating??! Right now I am sitting at 5.01% defect rate which is "Below Standard" and low enough to where I might have action taken against me. I've been a TRS since the program started and I have 100% postive feedback. (1 neutral). Am I not supposed to be just insanely furious over this? I want to rip my keyboard off the computer right now and slam it against the wall.
How can these situations POSSIBLY count against us?? If eBay wants to give me a pink slip, they've pretty much done it with this ATROCIOUS new system. I'm just sick over it.Hindsight being 20/20, the way to respond to an INR claim when an item shows as Delivered is to escalate it; the only way to avoid a defect after a buyer files an INR claim is to get an ebay decision in your favor.
