Guide in Purchasing a Power Bank

First off, What is a Power Bank?
A Power Bank is an external power source that you can use to charge your phone or USB device.

You may have been in situations in the past where you either ran out of battery on your mobile device, but have no fear, the Power Bank is here!

Power Banks are reserve portable energy sources that you use to charge your phone, tablet, gps system, and much more.

You may be asking yourself, "which power bank is the right choice for me?"

Well, we at Expertbattery are more than happy to guide you with this process! This informative guide will aid you in choosing the correct and convenient power bank that will be suit your everyday needs!

Even the compact power banks have their advantages, and disadvantages.
STEP 1: Know your usage.
Ask yourself,

How many devices do you  use on a daily basis to operate?

Do you have a tablet?

Do you have a smartphone?

Do you have any navigation or GPS device that you use often?

How many of these devices do you need to charge?

And the last and most important question to ask yourself is How often do you run out of battery on these devices?

This is an important step in determining and estimating what power bank you need for your everyday applications.
STEP 2: Calculate the amount of Energy you need!
Have you completed your assembly of your massive array of devices? or Do you just have a single phone that you use on a regular basis you would love to have a backup energy source for?

Most sellers use either mAh (miliamps) or Ah(amps) to indicate the capacity of a power bank, but wait, how do I know if 2800mAh is enough to charge my device, or if 16800mAh is enough?

First, we highly recommend that you find out what the energy capacity is on your phone or device, but in order for you to be able to do this, you would have to take the battery out of your device, OR find it in your Owner's manual.

Once you have opened your device, look for the WATTS AND VOLTAGE (symbolized by Wh and V) OR MILLIAMPS OR AMPS(symbolized by mAh or Ah keep in mind that 1 Ah = 1000mAh).

They may appear as the following:

Sample Battery 1:
3.7V 1500mAh

This means that your device utilizes 1500 mAh and will take 1500 mAh from your charger power bank to be completely charged.

Sample Battery 2:
3.7V 5.6Wh

BUT Wait! this is in watts! How am I supposed to calculate the amount in amps?

Well it's time to roll up your sleeves and finally do the most wonderful thing in the world, and that is called math!

FORMULA FOR CONVERTING WATTS TO AMPS:

AMPS = # of WATTS / THE VOLTAGE

So with this Formula:

AMPS = 5.6/3.7

and 1... 2.... 3... waive your magic wand, and presto! The answer is

1.5Ah = 5.6/3.7

To find out how many times a power bank will fully charge your device, simply divide:

POWER BANK MAH / YOUR PHONE's MAH = Estimated Number of Charges

Finding the right power bank is important in functioning your devices.
STEP 3: Looking for your Power Bank
Know that you know how much energy you need, it's time to go on a hunting trip!

Keep in mind how much battery you plan on using , and how many times does your phone's battery get drained.
Do you just need the quick charge here and there? Are you only drained once a day? Or are you just looking for something practical, that will keep you powered the whole day?

THE 4 IMPORTANT  RULES TO CONSIDER WHEN LOOKING FOR A POWER BANK
Check the Capacity, and make sure that it will suit your needs from Step 2.
