You could use add a note to each listing as to when you listed it and price

I've been doing some research on this idea that I would like to realize, and thus far I can't find anything that helps me too much. Maybe some of you guys have ideas?

I would like to keep track of my relists and unsold items, dating back more than 90 days, and with different details than what I think eBay provides me with.

For example, lets say I have an item listed BIN, 30 day duration. It doesn't sell. I go to relist it, drop the price, and then confirm the relist. It doesn't sell. Lets say I do this again, and maybe one more time beyond that in an effort to get it sold, but it still doesn't sell. At this point, I would like to just count my losses, not relist it, and then get some scrap money out of it if I can; basically just get rid of it because its not selling (I deal with a lot of toner, ink, etc). The problem is that with the sheer quantity of items I am listing, it is very tedious and difficult to keep track of the items that I relist, how many times they've been relisted, how much I've dropped the price each time, etc. As far as I am aware, eBay doesn't have a way for me to track this, other than to take an unsold listing, search my actives to make sure I won't accidentally double list it, then search my unsold listings and try to find the previous listings that I relisted to get to where I am now. And if the item is similar to other items I have listed, it makes this process that much more difficult.

I guess I could just start creating an excel spreadsheet that details a listings initial item number, price, title, etc and then add to it every time I relist something, but that will also get very tedious and time consuming, so much so that it might not even be worth it.

Anybody have any other ideas on how I can track this progression of relists? I have QuickBooks Pro 2012 if any options involve using Quickbooks.

I also understand that this may be a confusing question; I will try to clarify anything as best I can!

You will be the only one to see this on the listings. Example: Listed 1/1/14 - $20.00
Relisted 2/1/14 - $18.00
