Gear you need for Long Distance Running

KT Tape
This fabulous, flexible fabric tape sticks and stays through tough sweat (and they make a waterproof kind for Ironmans, too).  Stretch and flex the tape around your joints, ligaments and even for added support on non-flexing body parts for your runs.  The tape is thin and taught, allowing it to be worn under clothing and not slip, unlike bulky knee supports and braces.

Body Glide or Run Glide
Body Glide is a marvel of mankind.  This "slippery" anti chafe stick will get your body lubed up to avoid all the chafing that comes from long distance running.  Add to your body to avoid clothing from rubbing, elbows from cutting, or even thighs and lower arms to keep your running tutu form ripping you apart.

They sell a small stick that can travel in a carryon for your runcations like runDisney.

Zensah Compression Sleeves
Compression sleeves help to maintain the integrity of your muscles and reduce swelling over a period of time. Recover faster and run longer with a pair of sleeves. They come in all colors and even some patterns.
As opposed to running compression socks, sleeves are literally cooler and allow more freedom in your ankles.

Running Belt
Running belts like the ones from Fitletic have hydration, music, personal items, phone and even race numbers in one place. Customize and personalize your belt to keep everything handy on your run.
Unlike most popular belts, the fitletic belts are INCREDIBLY secure while your run, with NO bounce or shift. The hydration pods come in 6 and 8 oz, and can be worn singly or in tandem.
