my listings are detailed to help prevent this along with a you tube video

Over the past few weeks I have had a number of customers realize they ordered the wrong thing or want to delay shipment for vacation reasons. In every case, which was not my fault by the customers admission, the shipments are now delayed in the eyes of eBay.

Is it worth calling ebay and telling them about these and providing the evidence as to avoid any possible DSR issues down the line?

The buyers can & should just hold off on paying until they want the order sent.
Calling ebay would be of little to no help in this situation, they do not make exceptions.

If a buyer states they are going on vacation and they have already paid, I would send them the online link to hold their mail via USPS.

Why someone would not place their packages, CC statements, bills, & other mail on hold when on vacation?

If they do not want to do that.
I would just refund and advise them to repay when they return, ebay is not set up for delayed mailing with prompt payment.

The seller protection can be the biggest problem if one of the buyers files a claim, you could lose if you do not mail within stated time.
