How to Know High End MakeUp is Authentic

The sad fact is, you cannot one hundred percent know your item will be authentic. However, there are steps you can take to make sure they are more likely to be real.
If the price is super low and too good to be true then there is probably a reason. That reason is that is most likely not an authentic product. Cheap knock-offs off high-end brands can be bought from overseas by people who only wish to take your money. These knock-offs are not the quality of the real high-end products even if the packaging does look exactly the same.

MAC and Benefit are often imitated and sold online. I know from experience how easy it is to get ripped off from sellers of fake cosmetics. Remember, rule one: if it is too good to be true, it most likely is.
Be mindful of the country you order high end cosmetic from. Most of the knock-offs seem to come out of Asian countries. If you order them directly from there you are mostly likely ordering fakes. Also, many sellers now put that they ship from the USA in their information but their shipping time says 25 days. This is a red flag to tell you they are not really in the USA or are "drop shipping" from another country. Buyer beware.
Pay close attention to a sellers feedback. Read it. If there is neutral and negative feedback that states the item received was not authentic, rethink purchasing from that seller. Look for sellers who know their products and those who do not sell, let's say benefit, on a massive scale. Look for the seller who has great feedback that may have gotten the item as a gift and does not want it and you are more likely to get an authentic item. For instance, this seller has perfect feedback, does not habitually sell Urban Decay as she is selling right now and is not selling it for an absurdly low price. People like this are your best bet on receiving an authentic high-end makeup item.

Did you use the Refund Button on the PayPal transaction?

The Buyer said that the blouse I sold was not as I described and open the case (telling that it was a yellow spot up front).
actually it was NOT any kind of spot or damage and the approve of it are the pictures, one with a label from dry cleaning. I immediately return the money, not  waiting  for return, wishing just to close the case and keep my 100% Feedback score.
But because the blouse was not returned to me more than a week), I sent the massage telling that she can't keep both (the blouse and the money). After couple of days I received the mail saying that she took the blouse to the dry cleaner and the spot is ALMOST
cleaned and she decided to keep the blouse and to pay for it.

Now that is showing on my dashboard and E-bay take two times the fee.

If you refunded fully through paypal, your paypal fees would have been reversed except for the 30 cent transaction fee. Then you would have been charged the paypal fee for receiving a second payment. You would not have been charged additional ebay fees.

So in total, the net result should have been the original fees plus 30 cents. I think if you go back and carefully review the accounting, you will find this is the case.

Paypal Working Capital ~ 5 Stars

We just paid off our first loan thru Paypal working capital
We borrowed $1000 and had to pay back $1055
It took 4 months to do so, they took 10% of our sales

We just signed up for another loan for $2500 and have to pay back $2698
This time we're paying 15% of our sales

I give working capital 5 stars for ease of use and interest charged.

Extremely happy we were able to do this

I highly recommend this loan if you can get it

It comes out of daily sales, period.

So if you needed the consignment funds, consider opening a second PP account and use that email address in those listings so the payments go to the second account.  Although, PP may not go for it since it's all one business.

I had to do something similar, I also invoice my accounting clients via PP so they can pay by credit card.  Since I'm forming an LLC for that entitiy, it seemed a good time to convert my second PP account to the other biz, so the working capital payment wouldn't come out of those payments.  I also wanted the 1099k for that biz to be issued under the EIN anyway.

I second the ease and convenience of PP Working Capital.  Kabbage didn't like me, but PP did.  Works for me!

PayPal Refund A Defect If No Case Opened in eBay?

I hope I am not the only person who may be wondering about this.

1.) If a person offers a 14-day Return Policy, but does not use the Hassle Free option, they often just refund the customer via PayPal.

2.) If the buyer contacts you about an item using an option that does not trigger a case, and you refund the purchase via PayPal, does it count as a strike against the seller?

3.) I know if the seller tries to recoup their FVF on the eBay side, a case is open. Yet, I am not sure if it counts against a seller.

3.) I know if the seller tries to recoup their FVF on the eBay side, a case is open. Yet, I am not sure if it counts against a seller.  The "case" you are talking about here isn't a "case" as I talked about above, it's a cancel.  When you file the "cancel transaction case", in this scenario you need to chose "Buyer Changed Mind" and it will not count as a defect.

With all the time people spend learning new interfaces, updating software, learning new software because the old version is obsolete, accepting user agreements, setting passwords, remembering passwords, signing up for accounts, trying to keep up with bells and whistles (Collections, new inventory and listing apps), keeping abreast of social networking, trying to interpret eBay policy, trying to run a business within a constantly changing eBay policy...
