Why use a tank sump for diesel pickup fuel system upgrades?

A common upgrade for diesel pickup truck owners is a fuel system upgrade.  The stock fuel pump was only designed to supply enough volume to satisfy stock horsepower levels.  Owners of Ford Powerstroke, Chevy and GMC Duramax, and Dodge Cummins pickup trucks will find their fuel pressure dropping after making upgrades to increase horsepower.  Many owners will add a fuel system capable of supplying 100+ gallons per hour made by companies like FASS, Airdog, or Fuelab.  These systems are designed to supply a constant fuel flow and also add filtration to keep fuel clean.  One of the downfalls to these systems is the draw straw or factory suction pickup that is often used will not keep up to pump demand.  They not only make the pump work harder to suck the fuel from the tanks, but also sometimes prevent using all the capacity of the tank.  It is not uncommon to hear of a diesel pickup truck owner not being able to use the last 1/4 or 1/8 of tank of fuel with these sort of setups.

Those problems are the reason why Beans Diesel Performance designed their Fuel Tank Sump.  By installing a sump on the bottom of the tank, you are able to use 100% of the fuel tank.  Also, since the weight of the fuel in the tank is pushing the fuel towards the pump, the positive pressure actually helps the pump to last longer.  The pump will be able to supply an increased volume of fuel if it doesn't have to work as hard to get it from the tank.  Positive pressure from the tank sump also will help prevent drain back problems making engine starting quicker.

We often get questions about the durability of the sump on the bottom of the tank.  People sometimes worry that a rock or some other object will knock the sump from the bottom of the tank. If you are wondering about installation, the tank does not have to be removed to install the sump.  The Bean's Diesel Performance Fuel Sump Kit includes a hole saw.  You simply drill a hole in the bottom of the tank and install the sump from the bottom.  Tighten the patented no leak design and you are ready to go.  The kit includes a 1/2 hose barb fitting which is compatible with most FASS, Airdog, and Fuelab diesel pickup fuel systems.

ebay suffers mightly from the Do as I say and not as I do adage in the customer service department.

Wait a day is CS BS with the translation being we are blowing you off and nothing is going to happen.

File a complaint for the lost with the BBB in San Jose and the Attny General of California to get your money back.  If ebay had someone overseeing their poor CS, then maybe they might improve.

Package to China still in transit after a month?

I did some reading onlne and apparently somtimes the buyers atually DO get the packages, but since their county is lazy about actually scanning the labels, they use this as a way to get the item for free since it shows it was never delivered? Is this true?

So there ANY way of me finding out that it was delivered? I had a similar thing happen in Thailand a while back. Advice?

USPS delivery to China is slow compaired to China Post to the US.
I also believe that Chinese buyers are using the lack of tracking to get freebies.

Paypal surprisingly sided in my favor a few days ago. There was no proof of delivery, only the copy of my online label slip and no more tracking after it left Los Angeles.

I currently have another Chinese buyer claiming that the item wasn't received and is trying to pressure me into a refund. Let's see what happenens. This and the previous item had a value of over $250.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Chinese buyers but I have temporarily blocked China due to the sudden pileup of these INR cases.
